Rako, owners of more than 80 presses at its locations in Europe, South Africa and China, has again opted for Gallus presses. The company has eight Gallus presses already in use at its Witzhave headquarters.
One year after the previous purchase, Rako has decided to invest in two Gallus ECS 340 presses for the site. The two new presses are configured identically and equipped with 12 flexographic printing units.
According to Adrian Tippenhauer, managing director of the Rako Group, efficient production is key to cost-effective and competitive adhesive label manufacturing. The Gallus ECS 340’s short web path of 1.10m from one printing unit to another keeps paper waste to a minimum. Its technical granite core enables the machine to run quietly, as well.
“Gallus presses meet all our key criteria for cost-effective, high-quality label manufacturing. And Gallus as a company is a reliable partner, actively supporting us with excellent services and expertise,” says Tippenhauer.
