Tridev Labels, a label printer based in Chennai, has invested in a Mark Andy 2200 machine for the production of self-adhesive labels. Tridev Labels is a leading manufacturer of labels and bar code stickers, with its foundation set in 2008.
The company has a variety of printing options at its disposal, including digital, flexographic and wide format. This machine has been added to help with the increasing demand for self-adhesive label work. The end uses include health care, barcode labels, automotive labels, food and beverage labels, personal care labels, and quality control and calibration labels, etc.
“Emerging as the single source for quality label requirements, from paper to film, to hot foil stamped labels, to tamper evident, temperature sensitive and laminated labels, the need to meet and exceed the needs of our customers has always kept us on our toes,” says Kirubakaran R.V. “And with business growing, the need for new equipment made us look for options, and having zeroed in on the Mark Andy 2200, we made the decision to invest.”
The Mark Andy press features advanced web tension management, self-aligning cassettes and superior drying and curing systems. It also provides versatility and flexibility to deal with a wide variety of converting applications employing pressure sensitive stock, paper, foil, gummed stock, heat seal material, light weight tag and data processing stock. It also has the capability to print both sides of the web in a single pass.
“Due to the increasing demand for high-end labels for the pharmaceutical industry and food and beverage labels, TLMC saw a need to expand the company’s production capacity,” adds Gourav Roy, managing director for Flexo Image Graphics. “As a result, the company will now be able to widen its existing supply of labels thanks to the high running speeds and fast change-overs while offering top quality printing to their customers."
“Today, the company has a good clientele base in various industries, and we feel quite proud that we have managed to grow even in a highly competitive market. I have no doubt that the key to our success has been quality labels, short delivery times and consistency,” concludes Kirubakaran R.V.
