VariBlend has added patented, dual chamber, polypropylene tubes with in-mold labeling to its product range. The company has teamed with the global tube-maker Viva Healthcare Packaging to offer fully recyclable, customizable dual-chamber tubes with an easy-to-use flip top.
The length of each chamber within the single tube package can be adjusted to hold up to four ounces of formula, designed for brand owners in a wide range of consumer product categories, including personal care, food and household products.
Future plans include the combination of Variblend's patented custom-blending, dual-dispensing technology and Viva's 100% polypropylene dual-chamber tubes. This configuration will hold appeal for brand owners in a variety of "regimen-based" product categories that deliver a different multi-element formula over time. Such categories include skin care, sunless tanning, hair care or whenever a product requires ingredient separation or needs precise mixing and blending at the moment of application.
For optimal shelf appeal of the dual-chamber tubes, decoration possibilities include IML, silkscreen, metallic, pearl effect, foil, hot stamping, cap and ring options, and more. Consumer engagement via on-pack labeling can be enhanced thanks to high-impact QR links, specialized logos and invisible eyemarks. High definition photo-quality graphics are available, along with foil labels, for unmatched metallic shine.
"Our new dual-chamber tube offerings with Viva solidifies our position as the go-to source for dual-dispensing solutions," says Robert Brands, VariBlend president and CEO. "Our broad and deep range opens new formulation opportunities wherever two ingredients must be kept separate until the very moment of usage."
