The Flexographic Technical Association (FTA) has announced that in the last six weeks, 36 exhibit spaces have been sold on the INFO*FLEX show floor. This represents a 15% increase in booth sales over the same period last year and brings the total number of booths occupied for the March 7-8 event to 245. When the show opens in five months, the package printing and converting industry will house a total of 290 booths in Halls D, E and F of the Fort Worth Convention Center, in downtown Fort Worth, TX, USA.
“For the past five years running, INFO*FLEX has seen unmatched growth in both the number of exhibitors and attendees,” says Jay Kaible, FTA director of membership and business development. “As the industry talks about the convergence of tag and label and flexible packaging, it’s actually happening on the INFO*FLEX show floor. In just the last five years, tag and label attendance is up 50%, while the show floor saw 80% of the 2015 exhibitors catering to flexible packaging and 75% catering to tag & label.”
More than 2,000 printers/converters looking for faster make-readies, reduced downtime and ways to trim the fat from their operations will walk the show floor. The objectives: to network, pinpoint new and emerging technologies, absorb advice and catch wind of the latest technologies waiting to be tapped.
Every segment of the package printing and converting industry is represented on the show floor, including: flexible packaging, tag and label, folding carton/corrugated, printed electronics, digital printing, bags, envelope, and towel and tissue.
Each year INFO*FLEX is held in conjunction with FTA’s Annual Forum, (March 6-9, 2016) themed “Power of the Past, Force of the Future.”
