Flexographic Technical Association’s (FTA) upcoming 2016 Forum will explore how digital printing technologies are driving the flexographic industry into a new frontier in a technical session titled “Enhancing Digital Print with Flexography.” The presentations have been designed specifically for those who are looking for the best of both worlds—the speed, efficiency and repeatability of flexo, and the unique variability and flexibility offered by digital printing.
Session chairs Andy Knapp, Flint Group Flexographic Products and John Hickey, Domino Printing Sciences, have assembled what is expected to be one of the most heavily attended technical programs of the 2016 Forum. Taking place on Tuesday, March 8, the program offers attendees a look at where digital print and flexo are today, and how combining these two technologies can result in a profitable future.
“Attendees will hear directly from a leading label printer who has successfully integrated digital solutions into its flexo operations and, as a result, is experiencing increased customer satisfaction and optimized plant efficiencies,” says Knapp. “This session is a must-attend for any printer looking to add digital into its arsenal of printing capabilities.”
The “Enhancing Digital Print with Flexography” session will feature the following speakers and their presentations:
Mike Gore, Discount Labels, “The Power Duo: How Digital Solutions Enhance a Flexographic Platform”
Sharon Zampogna, McCourt Label Co., “Introducing New to the Old: How a 120-Year Old Flexo Company Embraced Digital”
FTA’s 2016 Forum, “Power of the Past, Force of the Future,” will take place March 6-9 at the Omni Fort Worth in Fort Worth, TX, USA. Co-located with the event is the INFO*FLEX Exhibition, staged March 7 and 8 at the Fort Worth Convention Center. Each Forum registration includes entrance into INFO*FLEX, where nearly 250 exhibitors will showcase their latest products and solutions specifically geared toward the package printing and converting community.
