Kocher + Beck hosted the FTA’s Mid America Regional Flexo Seminar on August 11, 2016. The seminar took place in Kocher + Beck’s new dedicated training room, which was added during the recently completed 24,000 square foot building expansion.
The seminar was designed for flexographic printers, converters, suppliers and prepress providers from all market segments, located in and around the central United States. Kocher + Beck, along with Ed Dedman of the Provident Group, Domino, Nazdar, Siegwerk and Kodak welcomed approximately 40 registered participants on Thursday morning.
Nazdar’s Josh Black conducted the first presentation on UV LED Curing Technology, followed by Dean Radford from Siegwerk EIC, who spoke about "Energy Curable Products for Flexible Packaging." Kodak’s Doug Weiss presented "New Flexo Plate Technologies for Improved Ink Transfer," and Bill Myers of Domino educated the audience on "Integrating Digital Print Output into the Flexo Print Process."
As part of the event, participants were able to tour the Kocher + Beck production facility. According to the host company, the seminar was a full success. Kocher + Beck also extended thanks to all participants, sponsors and organizers.
