Nilpeter has announced its partnership with the Label Shoppe, committing to the company's continued growth. For over 80 years the Gaytan family has served the California region with high-quality products, and with the addition of the FA-4* 10-color servo press, the next generation is prepared to carry on the company's success.
“Due to our nearly 100% growth in two years, in February 2016, we saw the need to add a modern flexo press," explains Ryan Gaytan, vice president of The Label Shoppe. “This new machine needed to offer automated short-run capabilities, long run stability, and impeccable register and impression control. It also needed to comfortably handle a 450 mm web without stepping up to the 500 mm+ size category. Nilpeter was the only manufacturer to offer the latter. We interviewed and demonstrated with several leading manufacturers, but none impressed us as much as the Nilpeter FA-4*. The fact that the FA-4* and its clean-hand technology, D2D (dot-2-dot) registry system, and complete automation are the newest innovative features from any manufacturer was also a consideration. We will be one of the first to pioneer these combined features in North America.
“Our team was particularly impressed with the value-adding units and options available on the FA-4*," Gaytan adds. "With one machine, we can easily run short runs, long runs, high-end wine and spirit labels, ECLs, and critical register jobs that would previously only be possible on web offset or digital presses."
