Papfin, based in Moldova, has installed two more Orthotec CFT3536 semi-rotary offset presses to add extra capacity for high-quality wine and spirit labels. This is PAPFIN's third investment in Orthotec.
The first Orthotec CFT3536 offset semi-rotary press installation came in Papfin in 2014, with complete functions that include 4-color offset, rotary hot-stamp, embossing and a rotary diecut station.
According to Papfin, the company is satisfied with the excellent inking and dampening system, as well as the precise registration on CFT3536 machine. These features help it to have a full order capacity by exporting to other European countries’ wine and spirits label market.
Papfin decided to expand its capacity to invest two more Orthotec CFT3536 offset presses, and the installation was made in August, 2016. The second and third CFT3536 machines have added capabilities, with 6-color offset, cold-stamp, rotary hot-stamp, embossing and rotary diecut station.
“The excellent inking system and stability of high registration for different converting are the reasons for PAPFIN to choose Orthotec CFT3536 offset,” says Alex Yakovlev, director of Ppartner, the distributor of Orthotec machines in the region.
“To have all converting and printing in one line–and very easy-to-use operation–has very much increased their production efficiency and let PAPFIN be more competitive to further expand their wine and spirit label market in European countries,” explains John Huang, director of Orthotec.
“The Orthotec CFT3536 semi-rotary offset press is a very mature machine, according to our two years experience," adds Philip Lykov, vice technical director of Papfin. “We have been with Orthotec machines for more than 10 years. We are glad to see the continued development of Orthotec machines to meet our need to be more competitive in quality and efficiency in modern label market.”
