The new IMLCON & IMDCON AWA Leadership and Innovation Award 2016 has gone to Clare Goldsberry – a respected commentator on the plastics and in-mold industries for 30 years, and the author of seven books on aspects of the business. Corey Reardon, president and CEO of international market researchers AWA Alexander Watson Associates, made the inaugural presentation of this new award during the company’s annual in-mold industry conference, IMLCON & IMDCON, held recently in Chicago, IL, USA.
“Nobody deserves this award as much as Clare,” says Reardon. “She has been a genuine and committed advocate of this technology, and promoted it enthusiastically and knowledgeably. I know the whole IML world will join me in thanking her for her outstanding contribution and congratulating her on her many achievements.”
AWA’s IMLCON & IMDCON conference has charted the industry’s progress for the last 23 years, and the 2017 event – along with the presentation of the 2017 Leadership and Innovation Award – will be held in Washington, DC, May 17-19, 2017.
