Edale has installed another flexographic press to a long-standing existing customer, EVA Enterprise Co. The company has installed an 8 color, full UV FL3 – 350 into EVA's factory based in Bangkok, Thailand.
Tony Law, Edale’s own distribution agent for the Asia Pacific region, has worked closely with EVA and owner Richard Kuo for over 10 years. EVA was so impressed with its previous Edale purchases that they soon installed the FL3. EVA specializes in label production with an average output of one million finished articles every day. Over the years, Edale has supplied EVA with many press solutions as the company has grown to meet increasing customer demand.
One of the advantages of the FL3 is the flexibility on multiple print stations, along with the job storage facility that enables users to store jobs, production data and also press settings, which can be recalled at a later date without having to reset. This was essential to the requirements of EVA and their customers.
Law says that Kuo was extremely happy with the install overall. When asked what made the FL3 so impressive, EVA states:
“More than five colors are required by customers, and excellent registration is essential for each and every one of them. We ran 7-8 jobs during installation and they were all very successful."
The FL3 has enabled EVA to achieve fast setups and changeovers while remaining future-proof for any upgrades. The auto and pre-register options alongside the standard features are already saving the company time and money, resulting in a much higher daily production.
