ETI Converting Equipment has reached an agreement with Buckeye Business Products, a manufacturer of pressure sensitive labels located in Cleveland, OH, USA, for the purchase of three additional Cohesio label making machines, bringing Buckeye’s total in use to 13. The Cohesio patented technology allows for the manufacture of pressure sensitive labels in a single inline process: printing, applying silicone and adhesive, laminating and diecutting, resulting in a final shippable product.
The new ETI machines are equipped with the Pellicut, a high-speed rotary diecutting unit that allows the machine to diecut on very thin liner (.72 mil) polyester film or (20 lb) SCK or glassine paper. The Pellicut increases the lifetime of the die by almost four times. It also increases the diecutting speed, as well as the precision.
With the growing development of online shopping, the market for shipping labels is booming. Buckeye’s Cohesio equipment enables it to respond to the increasing demand for labels at competitive pricing.
Buckeye bought its first ETI machine in 2010. Since then, Buckeye’s label business has steadily grown, and the company is now a leader in the production and sale of blank labels. The ETI state-of-the-art equipment allows Buckeye to offer its customers same day shipment on over 200 in stock label sizes at a very competitive price.
Buckeye has found ETI to be an ideal business partner, helping Buckeye to become a leader in the blank labels business. A video of the ETI machines is available below.
“We are pleased that such a prestigious company relies on our technology. We are committed to a long-term business collaboration.” says Maxime Bayzelon, president of ETI.
