Kombucha Dog is Southern California-based natural beverage brand made from organic ginger and rasberries. And if you’ve recently been in the Los Angeles area, you might have noticed these eye-catching bottles. Each Kombucha Dog label features the picture of an adorable puppy. Not only are the bottle labels handsome and brilliantly designed, they also serve a good cause: each dog photographed on the label is in need of a home.
The story behind Kombucha Dog starts with Michael Faye, a former photographer. He launched Kombucha Dog to combine his lifelong passion for dogs and his beliefs in the benefits of Kombucha, the fermented sweetened tea beverage claimed to be a powerful probiotic. Michael started his own brew of Kombucha and decided that each label would feature pictures of different homeless dogs in the LA area in an effort to find them new homes.
Each dog featured on the Kombucha label is living with a foster family. If you want to adopt one of these dogs, you can get all the info online. Each dog has it’s own page on the website under “Adopt K-Dogs." The label on the bottle changes as the dogs get adopted. So, with each brew, the labels are updated with pictures of new dogs.
At present, Kombucha Dog is only available in the Los Angeles area.
