Altana acquires Landa Nano-Metallography technology

The eco-friendly substrate technology is ideal for wine labels.

While metallization adds value, Landa said, it’s essentially an analog process and thus not part of the group’s primary focus.

3,000 kg of wasted foil is replaced by 1 kg of Landa NanoFlake.

The technology was on display at drupa 2016.
