I.D. Images LLC, a pressure sensitive label converter in Brunswick, OH, USA, is celebrating 20 years of supplying labels and related items to distributors across the USA.
Brian Gale is CEO and majority owner of I.D. Images, originally founded in 1995 by Richard Yisha. Gale joined the firm in 2003 and completed a successful management buyout of the company in 2007. The company has more than tripled in size over the years through organic growth as well as the strategic acquisitions of Cincinnati-based Concorde Labeling Systems (2009), Specialty Tape of Chicago (2010), Heather Label of Charlotte (2011), Advent LLC also of Charlotte (2012), and most recently Hi-Tech Printing, also out of Cincinnati (2013). I.D. Images also has a warehouse for distribution in La Palma, CA.
“We are on a mission to always improve our capabilities, technology and processes,” Gale says. “We ask ourselves, ‘How can we better serve our customers?’ We want to earn our customers’ business by making their lives easier.”
Today the company has over 150 employees, including an experienced sales force that is available for joint calls with customers to end users, bringing their knowledge and expertise to distributors who often sell a variety of products. “I rely on I.D. Images to be supportive and stand behind their product – our sales rep, Mark, will visit customers with me and provide his expertise to solve their problem,” comments Bruce Darrah, account manager at xpedx, an I.D. Images customer.
