UPM Raflatac is planning to open a new slitting and distribution terminal in Guadalajara, Mexico, later this year. The terminal is scheduled to begin operations by the end of 2014, and will supply both paper and film label stocks to customers in Guadalajara and Western Mexico.
This new terminal will allow UPM Raflatac to improve its service capabilities and offer an expanded range of products to the Mexican market. “Opening a terminal in Guadalajara is an important step for us,” says Jose Garcia, sales director and general manager, Mexico and Central America. “We will be able to expand our delivery network in Western Mexico and provide those customers with an even broader range of high-quality products backed by responsive and committed service.”
The Guadalajara terminal will complement UPM Raflatac’s existing slitting and distribution terminal in Mexico City, Mexico.
