Ultraviolet curing system
Amherst, OH USA
A new ultraviolet curing system, QuadCure, provides high lamp output while generating
substantially less heat to the substrate. The patented system is designed
for high speed printing, and applications that benefit from high UV output
and reduced heat. Reflectors include a dichroic
coating, which reflects UV light, but not heat-generating
infrared waves. The system uses air cooling for the
lamp and water cooling for the housing. It is extremely
compact, and allows rapid lamp changes without tools.
