BST donates equipment to DFI and Clemson
BST PRO MARK, Elmhurst, IL, has donated Powerscope video web inspection systems to Clemson University and to DiTrolio Flexographic Institute (DFI).
The system has been installed on a Comco press at Clemson, and on a Propheteer press at DFI’s headquarters in Broadview, IL.
The university initially was given a HandyScan system in 1992. “We have supported the flexo program at Clemson for over 10 years, and continue to do so,” says John Thome, vice president of marketing at BST. “Clemson consistently produces award winning printing and we are proud to play a contributing role.”
Thome adds that BST “fully supports the efforts of DFI and others across the country to develop more trained flexo press operators.”
“We are proud to have a partner like BST PRO MARK,” said Vincent DiTrolio, vice president and training administrator for DFI. “Contributions such as this allow us to provide the most effective educational program for our students.”
