Angle blade

The angle blades provide a spring load tension while maintaining a high contact angle, ensuring smooth pressure on the blade at the correct angle. Angle blades are composed of two blade sections formed of quality steel which are joined by a rigid, slotted coupling piece forming a substantial angle. The first blade contacts an upwardly moving section of the cylinder at a 65 to 90 degree angle. The second blade is mounted in a cantilever manner to accommodate any deflection of the first blade section. These qualities allow the printer and the converter to wipe the cylinder cleanly with a light spring load and to preserve the cylinder while improving the final print results.
