Akzo Nobel Inks wins environmental award
Akzo Nobel Inks has received the 2002 Environmental Award from the town of Trelleborg, Sweden. The award was presented in December.
The award, a sculpture by a well known Swedish artist, was presented with the following words: “The Environmental Award, instituted by the town council of Trelleborg, has for 2002 been awarded to Akzo Nobel Inks, a company with deep roots in the history of the town but also with links to a future Europe, for its high ambitions to run an extensive, serious and sustainable work for quality, environment, health, security and protection.”
Company President Peter Koivula said that Akzo Nobel Inks strives to be “a responsible and environmentally conscious employer and supplier to the graphic and packaging industry.”
