Xeikon to provide
global rental program
Xeikon International, of Lier, Belgium, has launched a new sales initiative to offer rental programs for customers around the world. Xeikon manufactures toner-based digital printing equipment.
The rental program is available for Xeikon digital color press customers in Europe, North America and Japan and will be expanded to other areas of the world where Xeikon International performs business.
The program is available through the Xeikon distributor network as well as through the company subsidiaries. It applies to the full range of Xeikon DCP webfed presses including the related IntelliStream front-ends.
“Through this rental program we will offer our customers an attractive way to enjoy the quality and performance of Xeikon systems,” says Wim Deblauwe, chief financial officer of Xeikon International.
In other news, Xeikon America and Strobbe America will be working out of their new facilities in Itasca, IL. The 53,000 square feet building includes a technology center, a help desk and office space for sales, marketing and administration. The attached warehouse will allow for the efficient distribution of consumables and spare parts, as well as paper and other substrates to a growing customer base.
Strobbe Graphics sells a variety of prepress equipment, including platemaking equipment.
