formed by 8 suppliers
An organization called The Cold Foil Alliance has been formed by eight suppliers to the narrow web industry. Members of the alliance are dedicated to furthering the cold foil transfer process. Each is involved in an aspect of the printing and converting industry that affects the quality of cold foil printing.
The members are Amagic Holographics, which offers foils, adhesives and a nip system, and publishes the Go Cold Handbook for Cold Foil Printing; Telstar Engineering, which manufactures the Decomod cold foil system; Raflatac, which supplies Raflasilk semi-gloss paper stock; Prime UV, manufacturer of UV curing systems; Akzo Nobel Inks, a leading narrow web ink supplier; Flexographic Trade School, a flexo training, research and technology institution; Trinity Graphic USA, which offers advanced prepress services for the flexo, offset and letterpress industries, as well as photopolymer embossing plates; and Harper Corporation of America, manufacturer of anilox rolls.
