Testing Machines wins ISO certification
The Field Service Department of Testing Machines Inc. (TMI), Ronkonkoma, NY, has been accredited to ISO 17025-1999 by the American Association for Laboratory Accreditation (A2LA).
Mike Moore, TMI’s quality manager, says that the accreditation underlines the company’s commitment to provide the highest level maintenance and calibration services to industry. A2LA was chosen as the assessment authority because of its mutual recognition agreements with accrediting organizations in many countries.
TMI manufactures physical property testing instruments for the paper, pulp, film, foil, ink, coatings, nonwoven, textile and corrugated industries. It has a network of sales offices and agents throughout the US and in over 50 countries.
