Trine Labeling Systems sold to Barry-Wehmiller
The assets of Trine Labeling Systems, of Los Angeles, have been sold by Impaxx to Barry-Wehmiller Companies, of St. Louis, MO. Accraply, Barry-Wehmiller’s labeling division, will integrate the Trine product line into its Los Angeles operations.
“This acquisition will expand our installed base of labeling equipment to approximately 12,000 installations and provide increased services and product capabilities to our new and existing customers,” says Greg Tschida, president of Accraply.
Trine Labeling Systems was founded in 1981 and acquired by CMS Gilbreth in 1988. CMS Gilbreth was subsequently acquired by Impaxx in 1996. Trine manufactures roll-fed and shrink labeling equipment and has an installed base of more than 1,000 machines in 22 countries.
