WS acquires rights
to gaming device
WS Packaging Group, Algoma, WI, has acquired the rights to manufacture and sell hidden message gaming devices, sold under the WebDecoder brand name. The rights were obtained from Thomas L. Barnhart and Global Commerce Group, the shared patent holders of the technology.
WebDecoder is device embedded into printed game pieces that launches an interaction between the consumer and the sponsoring company using the the color monitor of a personal computer.
“This technology is changing the way companies build data, define demographics, interact with their target audiences, and form the one-to-one relationship with their customers that they have longed to attain,” says Bill Challoner, business development manager for WS Packaging.
