Esko-Graphics, headquartered in Gent, Belgium, has announced a change in the company’s business strategy to focus primarily on the packaging market.
The company’s packaging activities now account for more than 60 percent of its revenues. Sales have increased by 11 percent over the first half of 2003, according to a company statement. “Packaging is our major flagship today,” says René Delbar, senior vice president of marketing. “We have earned an industry reference position with value-adding solutions, and with many products that are leaders in their respective segments.”
Esko-Graphics’ SCOPE software suite integrates graphic and structural design and pre-production with asset and project management. CDI platesetters image more than 90 percent of the digital flexo plates used worldwide, Delbar says.
