PCMC launches
technical center
Paper Converting Machine Company (PCMC) inaugurated its new technology center in Green Bay, WI, in early November with an open house, featuring demonstrations of its flexographic and nonwovens machinery. The event also featured seminars on coating, printing and substrates.
The PCMC Technology Center will be used to demonstrate products, conduct research and development, and to train suppliers and clients.
Company officials announced recently that it set “a new in-line flexo press speed record” at Labelexpo Americas in Chicago in September.
According to Rich Rogals, sales and marketing director, “The PCMC Evolution in-line, eight-color flexographic press ran production at the rate of 300 meters per minute (985 feet per minute). The servo-driven Evolution is available in web widths of 460mm, 560mm and 660mm.
