Flexo Trade School doubles its capacity
The Flexographic Trade School (FTS), a private training center for narrow web press operators, has relocated from Charlotte, NC, to Fort Mill, SC, USA.
The new plant more than doubles the size of the school to 12,000 square feet, and is barely three miles from its original location.
“The need to expand is a result of more print and converting equipment being added to the school, plus further options in the near future, with larger presses,” says Art Fields, program director and founder.
The school is also in the process of adding a complete prepress graphics training program, which will cover elements from design to final proofing and platemaking. This will enable FTS to demonstrate the process from the concept of a label to the shipping, all under one roof.
The new address is 3536 Centre Circle, Fort Mill, SC 29715 USA. Tel. 803 802 5211, fax 803 802 5228. The web address is www.weareflexo.com.
