Fusion UV expands
in US and Asia markets
Fusion UV Systems, a supplier of ultraviolet curing systems based in Gaithersburg, MD, USA, has expanded its North American sales force with the addition of two regional sales managers. The company also will distribute Elsicon’s OptoAlign polarized UV exposure systems in Asia.
Chris Brandl, formerly Fusion’s independent rep based in Michigan, joins the company as its Midwest regional sales manager. John Clark, who was responsible for sales in much of the Southwest, has been promoted to regional sales manager for the newly formed Southwest region. Fusion’s current regional managers, Lonnie Murphy and Bertram Raabe, continue management of the Western and Eastern regions, respectively.
DDU Enterprises of Torrance, CA, led by Doug DeLong, and InPro Technologies of Frederick, MD, led by Bob Couch, will become OEM machine builders for Fusion. Fusion’s sales and service in DDU’s and InPro’s former territories will now be covered directly by Fusion.
Elsicon’s OptoAlign polarized UV exposure systems are used to produce anisotropic materials for a variety of applications including liquid crystal displays. Fusion is responsible for sales and service of the equipment in Japan, South Korea and Taiwan.
