GEW Ltd., a manufacturer of UV curing equipment in Oxon, England, has joined Leicester College and The National Printing Skills Centre in an initiative that will deliver training and education to the printing and allied industries. Both areas have Centre of Vocational Excellence (CoVE) status, an award from the government recognizing a commitment to providing the highest quality education and training in the UK.
GEW is sponsoring CoVE by adding UV curing capability to the Webflex flexographic printing press at Leicester College. The company will also have experts in the field of UV curing make presentations at CoVE seminars on current and developing applications in printing and UV related topics.
