Spartanics expands
into digital diecutting
Spartanics, Rolling Meadows, IL, USA, announced that it will be the new manufacturer of Klemm Laser Cut Systems for digital diecutting, as well as coordinator of the worldwide sales and service organization for the new Spartanics Klemm Laser Cut Systems. The company says this technology transfer enables Spartanics to provide its customers the most optimized solution for high precision diecutting production challenges.
Tom Kleeman, Spartanics CEO, says that printers, packagers and others in need of high precision diecutting capabilities will find this a perfect marriage of German engineering expertise with Spartanics’ capabilities in machine controls, software and optics engineering, and detailed familiarity with the types of production challenges faced by its customers in the graphic arts, converting, nameplate, label, and related industries.
Spartanics Klemm Digital Diecutters operate at speeds up to 600 m/minute and feature laser beam technology available in galvanometers. The 0.5mm hole size, Windows based software designed for operators without CAD expertise, and the system for beam shaping are some of the Spartanics Klemm Digital Diecutting System features. The system comes with a wide array of options for scrap removal and can be configured for sheet-fed or coil-fed operations.
