3 Sigma acquires PWC,
coating & slitting firm
3 Sigma Corporation, of Troy, OH, USA, a supplier of specialty coated and adhesive products, recently purchased the equipment and assets of PWC Incorporated in Springboro, OH. PWC manufactured custom pressure sensitive products, and performed contract coating and slitting for label converters in the US and internationally.
The purchase provides 3 Sigma with additional hot-melt capacity as well as slitting capacity to handle recent and planned growth in sales activity. In addition, other equipment acquired will be used to support 3 Sigma’s recent expansion into solvent adhesive products.
3 Sigma manufactures specialty items such as Sigmature and Sigmaflex pressure sensitive products, as well as repositionable RPN MaiLabels and NewsLabels, Universal Coupon Film, Anchorseal, and Extend-a-Seal lines.
