LEXCON COMPANY, Spencer, MA, USA — Steven Allard was promoted to product manager in the Product Identification Business Team. He will manage FLEXcon’s pressure sensitive product identification materials in the areas of shelf marking, digital inkjet printing and vinyls. Sander De Jong was promoted to director of Holland operations. He will continue to oversee FLEXcon’s Holland finishing operations, warehouse management, facilities management, and international technical service and will continue to serve as technical service manager of FLEXcon International. Stephen Hall was promoted to director of supply chain, FLEXcon Europe. He had served as supply chain manager for FLEXcon Europe since April 2006, and has been instrumental in advancing Lean Manufacturing concepts and the use of Key Performance Indicators within the company’s Glenrothes, Scotland manufacturing facility. Joyce Laffin was promoted to director of corporate communications. She will develop communications strategies to support the corporate business strategy. In addition to the promotions, FLEXcon announced that Amit Roy was named new business development manager, performance films, in FLEXcon’s Performance Products Business Team. He will demonstrate to current and potential customers how application challenges in performance films can be met by drawing on FLEXcon’s expertise in performance films technology and extensive range of pressure sensitive products.
