Toray Films Europe (TFE), an arm of Toray Industries of Tokyo, Japan, will begin construction this year of a plant for production of Torayfan biaxially oriented polypropylene high-barrier metalized film. The plant will be located in Rhône-Alpes, France.
Toray Plastics (America), based in North Kingston, RI, USA, will drive the development and commercialization of the new business’s film technology and help establish TFE in Europe.
