Polywest opens sleeve plant in Wisconsin
Polywest USA opened a new 10,000 square foot manufacturing and sales plant on September 1 in Appleton, WI, USA. Polywest, which is headquartered in Germany, is a manufacturer of sleeves for the printing and converting industries.
The new facility features the latest equipment required to manufacture Polywest sleeves, laboratory and testing equipment to ensure quality control, and the latest inventory management systems for fast turnaround and delivery of sleeves throughout North America, says Stephan Lorig, technical officer. Polywest sleeves to be manufactured in the new Appleton facility will initially include the Rubin Sleeve – a build-up, plate mounting sleeve for use in flexographic printing applications.
Polywest Sleeve Systems has a 20-year history of manufacturing sleeves for flexography. Details are available by email to info@polywestusa.com.
