Harper draws a crowd for sleeve education
Harper GraphicSolutions, the technical service arm of anilox supplier Harper Corporation of America, recently hosted an educational seminar about anilox sleeve care for its customers, flexo suppliers and OEMs. More than 50 guests gathered for the presentations at the Harper National Flexographic Center at Central Piedmont Community College in Charlotte, NC, USA.
The company’s technical service professionals presented a day of insight and experience, including information about anilox sleeve construction, operational differences between sleeves and rolls, anilox sleeve care and storage, ordering specifications, and inspection and repair services.
The symposium finished with a tour of Harper’s manufacturing facility, where participants observed anilox sleeves being inspected and engraved; saw an echotopography demonstration of volume measurement; and embarked on a lab tour at Harper GraphicSolutions to see a Harper-Scientific Sleeve Wrak in action, observe audits and doctor blade analysis, and participate in a Q&A session.
