Printed Electronics show expects 800+ attendees
The fifth annual Printed Electronics USA conference and exhibition will be held December 2-5 at the McEnery Convention Center in San Jose, CA, USA. Show organizer IDTechEx says it is anticipating attendance of more tha 800 delegates, as well as 80 exhibitors.
Printed electronics, which reaches into a wide range of technological fields, is currently a rather small and diverse industry with the potential to reach into every electronic technology. Research today is focusing on such end users as the military, medical devices, display devices, and batteries industries.
The IDTechEx event will feature more than 100 speakers from around the world discussing the full range of printed electronics technologies as well as commercialization. A range of devices, materials and production technologies will be explained. Samples and demonstrations will be available, and many subjects will be aired for the first time. There will be sessions on the latest breakthroughs in electronics on paper and on new types of smart skin patch, for example, and photovoltaics beyond silicon.
Conference topics include analyst forecasts and trends; healthcare and bionics; electronics as art, signage and human interface; stretchable and invisible electronics; flexible lighting; sensors, thin film photovoltaics and batteries; smart substrates; conductive materials; and manufacturing technologies such as vacuum deposition, roll-to-roll fabrication, and inspection and testing systems.
