Kammann integrates into North American unit
Kammann Machines Inc. and Kammann Machines Service Inc. have merged to form Kammann USA. The new entity delivers more proactive and integrated products and services for customers in North America using Kammann print and converting technology, according to the company’s president, Paul Bolduc.
Based in St. Charles, IL, USA, Kammann Machines was incorporated in 1978 to manufacture decorating machines for cosmetics and hollowware, as well as the plastic bottle industry in North America. The company has since expanded into machinery for direct glass and plastic printing, web printing operations, medical device and printed electronics production, and other specialty applications.
Kammann Machines Service was formed in 1982 to provide parts and service support for Kammann machines in North America.
“Kammann has proven itself to be a prevailing force in the US, with thousands of successful machine installations, and Kammann Machines Service has provided superior service to these customers,” says Bolduc. “Integrating the product and service expertise within one organization ensures the best experience for our customers, from the first discussion of a Kammann solution, to the ongoing support and maintenance of that technology.”
VP Steve Gilbertson added, “Combining Kammann Machines and Kammann Service will help us to elevate our focus on customer care, in order to better serve our growing customer base.”
Kammann USA is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Werner Kammann Maschinenfabrik GmbH and Company, headquartered in Bünde, Germany.
