Mühlbauer opens new tech center in the USA
The Mühlbauer group, a Germany based manufacturer of security products, has opened a technology center in Newport News, VA, USA. The center, equipped with the latest technology, includes a sales and service department as well as several demo rooms, and serves as a new base for all Mühlbauer activities on the American continent.
In its show rooms, Mühlbauer demonstrates a product portfolio for the production and personalization of smart cards and passports, as well as systems for data capture and automatic border control. Moreover, numerous RFID assembly and converting lines as well as equipment for special niches in the area of semiconductor back-end can be demonstrated.
At the official opening of the location, Josef Mühlbauer, CEO and founder of the company, emphasized the importance of the American market for the technology group: “The American continent offers huge potential for our company due to the intended introduction of new innovative ID documents in many areas. From our new location, we can increasingly tackle the markets.”
