Aquaflex PCMC, a designer and manufacturer of in-line presses, has announced the release of a new mid-range inline flexographic press. The company says the ELS MAX has combined the best technologies from both inline and wide web CI presses, resulting in a press that provides superior web handling and registration.
The ELS MAX is touted as being fast and efficient, offering 24", 28" and 32" web widths capable of running up to 1000 fpm with up to a 30" maximum repeat. Plate and anilox sleeves further increase changeover speeds, and the ELS MAX is designed with Rockwell control technology.
In addition to speed, this press offers versatility. The ELS MAX can print on a wide range of materials, from low gauge plastic film to heavy point tag stock. Drying systems are available for any type of ink, including solvent-based, water-based and UV inks. Available options for printing applications include labels, flexible packaging, laminating, rotary die cutting, backside printing and continuous running winders.
