In cooperation with the Swiss Folex AG, Flint Group Flexographic Products has developed a laser ablative dry film. It is designed for imaging on infrared laser systems, such as digital flexo or letterpress imagesetters. The imaged film can be used for the UV exposure of analog flexo, letterpress and offset plates, as well as for screen printing stencils and for image control. According to the company, the very high resolution (greater than 10,000 dpi, depending on the laser system) as well as the high contrast and the reproduction of even the finest details, make it suitable for almost any application.
