Wasatch Computer Technology has announced the release of Wasatch SoftRIP Version 7.0. Though SoftRIP has been sold for digital narrow web label printing for several years, the company says this version is the first to specifically address converting. Users will find support for rotary cutting equipment and enhanced diecutting features for bleeds and round corners on digital cutters. The company has also released Wasatch Variable Data Printing (VDP) 2.0, which introduces technologies such as variable QR codes and special rendering features essential to bar code print quality.
