DFI Golf Outing set for August

July 17, 2013

DiTrolio Flexographic Institute (DFI) is kicking off the summer by organizing the 10th Annual Scholarship Drive Golf Outing. Organizers of the Golf Outing hope to continue a strong tradition of raising funds at the annual event, to be held Thursday, August 15, 2013, at White Pines Golf Club, Bensenville, IL, USA.  Last year’s event was a success with proceeds supporting the DiTrolio Flexographic Institute, Inc. Scholarship Fund. The fund provides financial resources that enable students the opportunity to be trained and start a career in flexography as a flexo press operator or one of many other positions.

Vince DiTrolio, founder of DiTrolio Flexographic Institute says, “Providing these scholarships are instrumental in establishing the next generation of flexo press operators. Due to rapid rates of growth and development in the industry, Flexographic printing offers excellent employment opportunities and competitive wages. Innovations in flexography continue to further solidify its reputation as a sophisticated, high-quality printing process and a great career opportunity.”

The Annual DFI Scholarship Drive Golf Outing will be a four-person best-ball Peoria scoring scramble with a shotgun start, cart, and dinner to follow. Golfers may register individually or as a team. Individuals or organizations interested in golfing or sponsoring the event are encouraged to contact Tom Anderson at 708-343-4334.
