“We use Gallus flexo presses in both of our facilities, here in Buffalo, New York and in Liberty Hill, Texas,” says Gintzler president, Bryan Scheible. “They are extremely user-friendly and robust, which translates to very high reliability and performance with hardly any downtime. And if we do have an issue, the Gallus support staff is right there to help us. For these reasons and more, there was really no question about what narrow web press we wanted.”
The new press is generally the same configuration as the original, but with the addition of register control. Gintzler Graphics is a custom manufacturer and says it prides itself on its ability to deliver unique label printing products for its medical and health & beauty customers. This often calls for modifying a flexographic press with new features. “In these cases, the Gallus team has been able to engineer solutions to achieve the top quality results we needed,” the company says.
“Gallus helps us achieve award-winning quality, and that allows us to help our customers sell more product,” Scheible adds. “The addition of a second Gallus ECS 340 certainly helps us maintain our excellent reputation and gives us a boost to do more high quality work.”
Delivery of the new Gallus ECS 340 in Buffalo was completed in March 2013.
