Spartanics, a manufacturer of card equipment and laser cutting systems, has purchased Malahide Hot Stamping Presses, formerly located in Vancouver, Canada. The acquisition strengthens Spartanics’ lineup of full sheet and roll fed hot stamping systems by offering smaller, one-up hot stamping equipment designed to add security foil features, signature panels and full-color graphics to financial transaction cards, paper cards, loyalty cards, membership cards, poker chips, ribbons and many other promotional items.

Malahide technology will be engineered, manufactured, sold and serviced by Spartanics in Rolling Meadows, IL, USA. Paul Birch, Malahide’s sales director, says, “Malahide is delighted to have joined the Spartanics team. Spartanics shares our goals of producing superior machinery, backed by superior customer service. With more people, more resources, and an array of complimentary technical skills, we have every confidence that this new structure will advance the equipment and well-serve the needs of Malahide’s client family. Ian and I both look forward to working with Spartanics throughout the transition, and well into an exciting new future of Malahide.”
