Visitors to Labelexpo may have felt the intense, staring crocodile eye from booth 1805, where Paper Resources, Inc. showcased its line of aggresive adhesives. The company specializes in heavy coat weight and aggressive hot melt adhesives constructions that bond well to a variety of surfaces and are press friendly during the converting process.

Among the products on display:

• CrocLock is an aggressive hot melt adhesive designed for difficult to label substrates. Key attributes include excellent on press convertibility as well as quick tack properties. Designed for use on wood, textured surfaces, plastics, corrugated and other hard to label surfaces.
• SnappLock is an aggressive high performance hot melt adhesive featuring high initial tack and SAFT. This adhesive is an excellent die cutting adhesive that will maximize press speeds and still offer high initial tack. Designed for use on plastic, glass, corrugated and stainless steel and also performs well in cylindrical labeling applications.
• OSB+ is a heavy coat weight hot melt adhesive designed to perform well on difficult to label substrates. This adhesive has had success adhering to wood, tires, carpet back, textured plastics and recycled corrugated. OSB+ has performed well on cold, wet surfaces that have dust/debris present.
• HP1 adhesive is a high tack, high performance hot melt rubber based adhesive engineered to provide high performance adhesion while maintaining resistance to severe environments including exposures to petroleum based oils, grease, organic solvents, and high humidity. It also provides a high level of adhesion to low surface energy surfaces including HDPE and powder coat paints. Good initial tack and high ultimate peel values allows this product to be used in difficult to label applications where a strong bond is required.
