On display is the company’s latest water-cooled, final cure module, the SCX HD.

UV LED curing specialist Integration Technology Ltd (ITL) is showcasing four new products among further developments in its expanding LEDcure program at Labelexpo (Stand 5D21).

On display is the company’s latest water-cooled, final cure module, the SCX HD. Designed for high-speed, single-pass curing, the system delivers a massive 28W/cm² of peak intensity with a class-leading dose via a dual array system capable of curing speeds in inkjet printing of between 120- 140m/min.

This is complemented by two new water-cooled pinning systems: the Pincure C (3.5W/cm²) and the Pincure CX (10W/cm²), especially developed for high speed hard pinning of dense white inks.

At just 20mm thick, both new Pincure models feature ITL’s well-proven optical system which ensures safe operation and minimal light scatter even when located immediately adjacent to the print heads.

Joining the well-established PincureZ air-cooled pinning module (first launched at LabelExpo in 2015) is the new air-cooled MZF, delivering 6W/cm² for the hard pinning of dense white inks.

All feature ITL’s high output/dose XT8 UV LED Booster technology, which offers high-performing thermal properties and UV output increases without any need for additional driver current. In turn, this technology yields stable output and an exceptionally long service life well in excess of 50,000hours, all backed by ITL’s unrivalled 5 year LED module warranty.

XT8 features new supporting technologies in form of STEADYcool and VARIcool, for water and air cooling respectively and offering more consistent, quieter and consistent cooling performance.

STEADYcool features specially designed water passages fitted with dynamic flow devices which enhance the water cooling surface area ensuring maximum thermal transfer and cooling efficiency. This ensures totally even cooling to within 5°C and consistent UV output even on the longest of arrays.

VARIcool is a closed loop electronic system which automatically adjusts teh cooling to individual segments within the total length of the LED  array according to both the ambient temperature and working duty cycle, consequently eliminating any start-up spike and delivering a consistent output even in working environments of up to 45°C. A significant feature of VARIcool is the low noise levels from the cooling fans, which ITL claims is quieter than any other products currently on the market.
