TISSUE CONVERTING OMET has over 50 years’ experience in the manufacturing of in-line converting machines for the production of napkins and tissue, non-woven and dry-laid disposable products, and thanks to the continuous hard work of its R&D Department is in pole position for what concerns technology development and suggestion of new converting solutions. Its range includes converting machine for high production of neutral or printed napkins, overlapped (C or Z fold) or semi-continuous (Z-W-L fold) paper towels production machine and the latest Chameleon digital ink-jet printing unit for the production of customized napkins with variable images and data. As part of the recent digitization project of OMET, OMET’s Tissue Converting machines can be fully controlled from the main control pulpit with no need of human’s intervention, thus increasing the level of safety of the machine and ensuring the speeding up of production with huge advantages in terms of time and waste savings.
