THE DEMAND FOR SUSTAINABLE PACKAGING
Wine consumers are connoisseurs beyond the content of the bottle. They are perceptive to a product’s full ecological impact, and that includes the packaging. Thus, sustainable packaging is likely to impact consumers' purchase decisions.
According to a recent survey*, an overwhelming majority of participants (83 percent) consider it “important or extremely important” for brands to design product packaging with sustainability in mind. Furthermore, 72 percent responded they are currently buying more environmentally friendly products than they were 5 years ago.
