Garware Polyester Ltd, a PET film manufacturer and exporters based in India, is manufacturing polyester film for various specialty applications. These films are used for manufacturing protective face shields from 0.007” PET film to help fight the global COVID-19 pandemic. These face shields are being supplied through Garware Community Center free of cost as help to local doctors, police departments, municipal staff, and others who need protection from the spread of the coronavirus.

The demand for face shields is increasing. Garware's 0.007” PET film with anti-fog and anti-scratch coating is seeing strong demand for production of face shields by different companies all over the world.
Along with distribution of face shields, Garware Polyester also is helping local authorities in many ways for sanitization activities for the community as per requirements of local authorities. As a CSR activity, help is also rendered to some of the NGOs for providing food to the migrant labors. The help is also rendered by supply of complete attire to the doctors and health workers in some of the hospitals to fight COVID-19 pandemic.

Garware Polyester set up a community center in 1993 in India. The purpose of starting the community center was for the development of social, cultural, educational and sports awareness among common people of all age groups.
