The classic premium beer of German capital Berlin has launched a special edition – Berliner Kindl Jubiläums Pilsener – which displays famous buildings and places of the capital on its body labels.
There are 12 labels, each dedicated to one of Berlin’s buildings or places, but it is also worth having a glimpse “behind the scenes” of the label. Printed at Multi-Color Germany, the back of the peelable paper label holds a lot of exciting information about the individual motif. Beer lovers can look forward to discovering Charlottenburg Palace, the cableway in the Gardens of the World and, of course, the “Alex."
MCC has contributed to this diversity by designing labels in a complete package: aluminium bottleneck foils combined with paper labels presenting the impressive buildings. The body labels are gravure-printed in 8-colors, with reverse-side printing and a peel-off finish.
Besides the special edition, Kindl’s new crates still hold regular bottles of the traditional delicate hoppy pilsner from the capital, that suits any occasion. “Every returnable crate of Berliner Kindl Jubiläums Pilsener will have some special edition bottles as a surprise besides the ‘regular’ bottles," Kerstin Wegner from the marketing department happily says. “Berlin is as colorful and diverse as its districts. That’s why we deliver ‘mixed’ crates.”
This special edition reflects, once again, the longstanding tradition of this beer, and its special and traditional bond to Berlin. However, those who love it should seize the opportunity quickly – the special edition is available only while stocks last.
